Non-existent customer service. After 3 weeks, still no response on my complaint. Flying 200+ times a year, will do that with a different airline from now on, that I'm sure of.

The KLM Customer Helpline has completely given up! Neither Frankfurt, nor Amsterdam can be reached via phone. They dont let you wait for an hour - their answering machine disconnects the call !! They had more than a year time to prepare for operating under C19 conditions. If you have any requests regarding oversized luggage, baby strollers etc KLM can not help you! The service level has dropped to RYAN Air standards !!! Unacceptable for a Airline with this reputation !!

I used to fly with KLM for the past years and I was always very satisfied with their service. However, my recent interaction has changed everything! Due to the pandemic, I had to cancel my ticket and was advice by an KLM representative to request a ticket refund online. After a few days, I received a refund of only a fraction of the ticket price. I tried calling the hotline, sending messages, filling complaints, but I did not receive an answer - only excuses and lies. Is this the way you treat loyal customers? For me the last time to fly with KLM.

I purchased a ticket from Cape Town to Amsterdam for my niece to visit her adopted family in Holland at the end of 2021. Unfortunately, we had to cancel as she was not issued a Dutch visa due to Covid. We cancelled the refundable ticket (T7BV2U Antonia Kraaikamp) and have ever since been trying to get a response from KLM why the ticket has not been refunded. No one returns our enquiries and it's clear KLM places very little stock in their customer service. As a result we doubt we'll choose this airline for any of our future travels.

Shocking service. Read this before booking with them. When flights were cancelled at the main airport, no customer service were on hand to help KLM passengers that were stuck, regular KLM staff were confused and told us to book ourself a hotel and that we would get a text with instructions! With no hotels available we had little option other than spend a night on chairs at the airport along with hundreds of other poor people. There were however armed guards protecting the KLM lounge! Guards with guns all over, when I spoke to them and took the photo below they asked me to delete the snap, i refused and explained my frustration at the lack of KLM staff helping and the armed guard shrugged his shouldered and agreed with me. At this point, it felt as if Marshall law was descending at the airport.....But still no KLM staff helping passengers were to be found. See photos. No help offered, no food or vouchers given, some water was handed out, but you only knew this if you were lucky enough to walk passed them and all the water was gone quickly....No advice offered to assist passengers. Myself and my family had to sleep rough at the airport all night after a long hall flight of 11 hours. Food on that flight was poor and cold. I personally will never fly with KLM again and would highly recommend travelling with a company that has at lease some regard for there customers. in my option and from my personal experience this is not KLM

You lost my luggage. Again. When I arrived at my holiday destination I waited FIVE days for my luggage. Now on the way home you lost it again. It arrived 48 hours ago in Hamburg airport and has not been forwarded to me yet. How to you need 2 days to send it? It is Christmas. I have nothing. I want compensation. Oh. And the 1* is for the worst customer Service ever. No one picks up at the hotline, no email adress, whatsapp is answered by chatbots. I hate this airline.

Would give zero stars if possible DO NOT RECOMMEND TO BOOK, the trouble afterwards with their horrendous customer β€žserviceβ€œ is not worth any flight! It is shockingly obvious that service processes are intentionally misleading and difficult to avoid any compensation - and not just due to staff incompetence

KLM asked me to do a customer survey but the link they sent me is expired! So I have to do all I can do, and comment on their headquarter Google page. This Airline used to be one of my favorite. But after two lost luggage events, a 20-hour unplanned layover in amsterdam, and finally the absolute lack of customer service they have either by phone, WhatsApp or in person, I will strive not to fly KLM if at all possible. I would love to tell someone about it at the airline, but again, as others have mentioned, it is impossible to contact a human being!
