About KUKULKITE Kitesurf school Amsterdam
KUKULKITE originates from the beautiful island, Isla Holbox in Mexico. When the head instructor, Chris, fell in love with a Dutch girl. KUKULKITE Netherlands was born! KUKULKITE Holbox’ little sister.
Chris has been working in the kite industry for 11+ years. He has been lucky enough to work in; Mexico, Peru, Cuba, Brazil, France, Dominican Republic, Sardinia, Spain and The Netherlands. You are definitely in good hands with Chris on the water!
The girl he fell in love with is called Elke. Fortunately she is pretty crazy about Chris as well. Crazy enough to jump into this adventure together. You will find her on the water every free moment. When she is not taking care of your reservations, questions and kite trips.
Ride with us 12 months a year! From May untill October at KUKULKITE Amsterdam and from November untill May at KUKULKITE Holbox. We all love an endless summer!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ 100% recommendation. I hardly ever write reviews, but my experience with Kukulkite in Amsterdam was so good I thought I’d summarize my experience. For context: I am a beginner and had taken lessons at a different kite school once before.
Booking experience is super easy online and contact via WhatsApp was equally fast and pleasant. The equipment (kite, wetsuit, etc.) was brand new and good quality (as far as I could tell) and Chris is a great teacher. Very patient and professional and always in a good mood! Learning curve with him was very steep thanks to his clear instructions on what to improve. Also in comparison to the lessons I had taken at a different school before, I can fully recommend Kukulkite!

Even before getting in the water for the first time, their communication was impeccable and honest, making sure to find the best weather conditions for my first lesson.
In the water, Chris is very thorough with the safety and surfing techniques from setting the equipment and gear up, to getting down the basics of the sport; all of this while making the lesson, fun, encouraging and friendly.
I look forward to more lessons and learning the sport with you guys, whether that means here in the Netherlands or in Mexico =)

Also the planning of classes and communication with Elke went easy and smooth. Besides, they really went the extra mile by offering a ride to the location.
