★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het hotel probeert zich hoog te profileren maar het ontbreekt aan de puntjes op de i, maaltijden die een beetje klasse kunnen hebben worden afgeserveerd met frietjes. De inrichting van de kamers zijn nog net zo als bij oplevering van toen het hotel gebouwd is oudbollig, de muren vertonen scheuren en de badkuip is verroest, gelukkig zijn er in de loop der jaren wel de matrassen een keer vervangen en het beddengoed maar daar houdt het dan ook wel mee op.
Ik denk dat er voor het bedrag die ze vragen voor zowel kamer als maaltijd er in de regio veel beter te vinden is en gezelliger.
 The hotel is trying to profile itself but it lacks the finishing touches, meals that can have a bit of class are served with fries. The furnishings of the rooms are still the same as when the hotel was built when it was built, the walls are cracked and the bathtub is rusted, fortunately the mattresses have been replaced over the years and the bed linen keeps there it also along.
I think for the amount they charge for both room and meal there is much better and cozier in the region.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het is een Fletscher Hotel, weinig sfeer. We hebben daar, om een speciale reden, geluncht, maar hierna hebben we er geen behoefte meer aan. De serveerster was wel zeer vriendelijk. De menukaart was ook niet erg origineel.
It is a Fletscher Hotel, little atmosphere. We had lunch there for a special reason, but after that we don't feel the need. The waitress was very friendly. The menu was also not very original.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Vanmiddag met zn 4tjes een high tea "genoten" . Wij kregen pp op een bord gepresenteerd twee dubbel gevouwen doormidden gesneden bruine boterham een belegd met kipfilet en een met rosbief, ieder een half sausijsenbroodje en op een niet al te fraaie roestvrij stalen schaal gepresenteerd 4 kleine macarons, 4 truffels, 4 glaasjes met een cremesubstantie, 4 kleine lemoncakejes en thee zoveel je wilde en dat voor 60 euro! Wij waren de enige die met zn 4en waren. Aan de overige tafels, waar ook high tea genuttigd werd, zaten 2 personen. De tafels voor 2 kregen een totaal andere variatie van hapjes en fraai gespresenteerd op een mooie etagere. Omdat er naar mijn mening te weinig hartige en veel te veel zoete hapjes bij ons op tafel stonden heb ik om meer hartigheid gevraagd. Wij kregen 4 kaas en 4 sausijs hapjes uit de oven erbij. Het glaswerk was ook vervanging toe! Doe van de glascorrossie. Kortom zeker GEEN aanbeveling om gezellig en lekker van een high tea te genieten! Geen enkele ster waardig en zeker te duur betaald! Hier komen we dus geen 2de keer!
This afternoon we enjoyed a high tea with 4 kids. We were presented on a plate with two folded brown sandwiches cut in half, one with chicken fillet and one with roast beef, each with half a sauce of bread and on a not too fine stainless steel dish presented 4 small macarons, 4 truffles, 4 glasses with a cream substance , 4 small lemon cakes and tea as much as you wanted and that for 60 euros! We were the only ones with zn 4s. At the other tables, where high tea was enjoyed, were 2 people. The tables for 2 were given a completely different variety of snacks and beautifully presented on a beautiful floor. Because there were too few savory and far too many sweet snacks on our table, I asked for more kindness. We got 4 cheese and 4 sauce ice cream snacks from the oven. The glassware also needed replacement! Get rid of the glass body. In short, definitely NOT a recommendation to enjoy a high tea in a cozy and tasty way! Not worthy of any star and certainly overpriced! So we don't come here 2nd time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Het eten was redelijk, voorafje werd beschreven als bevattend best pittige ingrediënten, maar met peper en zout afgemaakt werd het pas iets. Wel was de smaak ervan heel authentiek. De zalm was lekker. Goed gaat en lekker zacht.
Dan de dame blanche? Nou dat was een geheel eigen versie: twee bollen ijs naast een even grote bol slagroom op een plankje. Vier kleine brownies als wachters op de hoeken. De chocolade"saus" was als een dunne laag smeerkaas over het plankje uitgesmeerd, waarop dan de rest was gelegd. Het was voor de kok geen groot karwei. Geef mij maar warme chocoladesaus over het ijs en de slagroom uitgegoten. Lekker met een ijslepel in een diep glas roeien!
The food was reasonable, the appetizer was described as containing quite spicy ingredients, but it was only finished with salt and pepper. However, its taste was very authentic. The salmon was tasty. Good going and nice and soft.
Then the lady blanche? Well that was a completely unique version: two scoops of ice cream next to an equally large scoop of whipped cream on a shelf. Four small brownies as guards on the corners. The chocolate "sauce" was spread over the board like a thin layer of cheese spread, on which the rest was laid. It wasn't a big job for the cook. Give me hot chocolate sauce over the ice and the whipped cream. Row in a deep glass with an ice scoop!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Gisteren het menu gegeten. Weinig keus. Carpaccio genomen. ( +2.50) zou moeten zijn met geroosterde hazelnoten. Zongedroogde tomaatjes, rucolla en een dressing. Was: 3 rauwe halve walnoten, hoopje gemengde sla. En brandend hete groene pepers uit een potje...... Vies. Hoofdgerecht keuze boerenschnitsel of zalm. Schnitsel genomen. Erbij prop gemengde sla. Flieterdun stukje tomaat en patat. Verder geen groente erbij gekregen.
Desert was lekker. 1x dame Blanche 2.0 en 1 x crème brulee. Ook veel bellende heren in het restaurant. Personeel heel vriendelijk maar al met al geen 4 sterren kwalificatie waardig. Voor hetzelfde geld kun je in Fletcher Schoorl eten waar de kwaliteit en keuze super is!
Eaten the menu yesterday. Little choice. Carpaccio taken. (+2.50) should be with roasted hazelnuts. Sundried tomatoes, arugula and a dressing. Wash: 3 raw half walnuts, heap of mixed lettuce. And burning hot green peppers from a jar ...... Dirty. Main course choice farmers schnitsel or salmon. Schnitsel taken. Add mixed salad. Fliet-thin piece of tomato and fries. Furthermore, no vegetables received.
Desert was tasty. 1x lady Blanche 2.0 and 1 x creme brulee. Also many ringing gentlemen in the restaurant. Staff very friendly but all in all not worthy of a 4 star rating. For the same money you can eat in Fletcher Schoorl where the quality and choice is super!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Op zich is het prima en zou ik meer sterren kunnen geven. De aanblik van de zaak is echter troosteloos. Buiten het pand staat een zogenaamd rookhok wat helemaal vervallen is. Het zal wel niet meer gebruikt worden, maar schaadt desondanks de aanblik van de zaak.
Als je voor het raam zit te eten heb je uitzicht op welig tierend onkruid. Op het terras hangen bloembakken aan de wand met totaal uitgedroogde bloemen. Ze hebben duidelijk weken geen water gehad. Met een beetje aandacht kan alles er fris en fruitig uit zien.
De bediening is uitermate vriendelijk en verder is alles prima in orde in en om de restaurant afdeling.
In itself it is fine and I could give more stars. However, the sight of the matter is bleak. Outside the building is a so-called smokehouse which is completely run down. It will probably no longer be used, but it nevertheless harms the appearance of the case.
When you eat at the window you have a view of rampant weeds. Flower boxes hang on the terrace with completely dried out flowers. They obviously haven't had water for weeks. With a little attention, everything can look fresh and fruity.
The service is extremely friendly and everything is fine in and around the restaurant department.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Twee keer het Fletchermenu genomen, waarbij we het 2e menu gratis kregen. Keuze uit 3 voorgerechten (waarvan wij de vega pompoensalade en de kipcocktail hadden), 3 hoofdgerechten (wij namen zalm en boerenschnitzel), en 2 nagerechten (appelplaatcake en dame blanche). Alles zag er goed uit, en smaakte prima. De portie gebakken aardappels vind ik aan de kleine kant voor twee personen, en er zat vrij weinig groente bij het hoofdgerecht (daarom 4 sterren in plaats van 5). Ook miste ik een stukje rundvlees als mogelijkheid om te eten via het menu. De bediening was erg vriendelijk, en het restaurant ziet er goed uit.
Took the Fletcher menu twice, where we got the 2nd menu for free. Choice of 3 starters (of which we had the vega pumpkin salad and the chicken cocktail), 3 main courses (we had salmon and farmer's schnitzel), and 2 desserts (apple plate cake and dame blanche). Everything looked good and tasted great. I find the portion of baked potatoes on the small side for two people, and there was relatively little vegetable with the main course (therefore 4 stars instead of 5). I also missed a piece of beef as an option to eat through the menu. The service was very friendly, and the restaurant looks good.
