It is a wonderfully cute eatery where you can get the staples like stewed beef and beans and rice, tostones, cassave fries and more. The meat melts in your mouth and the rest of the food tasted like a warm island hug. Not to be missed is the delectable Tres Leches cake. The prices are good for the portions you get. Service is done with a smile. We really enjoyed La Bandera and will be back!!

The coordination of ingredients because of my wife's celiac disease was problem-free and convincing . The menu rather clear , but varied . The service over from friendly and attentive , the food tasty . We had kid , fish and beef - It all fit ! So the next day we reserve a table at La Bandera and it was again tasty and pleasant . . .

I had tried several menu items, like the chicken soup, grilled chicken, goat- chicken- and beef stew, all are very tasteful. The bean with rice ' 'aroz moro' is delicious. I could not enjoy eating in the restaurant due to Covid restrictions we did in our apartment. While waiting, I ordered coffee from their machine: perfect fresh black coffee, grounded at that moment. The owner and staff are very polite and caring.
