About La Terrazza Bergen NH
Ristorante ‘La Terrazza’ is een gezellig familie restaurant met een mondiale uitstraling, waarin kinderen ook van harte welkom zijn.
De zaak is opgericht door twee broers Murgia, die na heel wat culinaire omzwervingen waren neergestreken in het pittoreske dorp Bergen N-H. De twee broers stonden samen garant voor heerlijk Italiaans eten en drinken in een ambiance die je het gevoel gaf echt in Italië te zijn. Met Sicilië als “land” van herkomst kon het niet anders dat de kookkunsten gevarieerd en origineel waren.
Inmiddels is het restaurant overgenomen door zoon Cristiano en dochter Clair. Broer en zus, hebben de zaak weer een frisse wind gegeven anno 2019, maar de wijnselectie en de bereiding van de gerechten, worden in overleg met vader Mariano samengesteld.
Op de eerste verdieping is een prachtige ruimte, die zich uitstekend leent voor het houden van besloten diners, lunches, aangeklede borrels, familie feestjes, vergaderingen etc. Dus als u iets te vieren heeft, informeer dan vrijblijvend naar onze mogelijkheden.

The covered terrace is unfortunately not very cozy and could do with a warmer atmosfeer; we therefore prefer sitting at the windowsill when we go. Apart from the food, Pascuale is definitely an absolute reason to go back : he is an utmost impeccable and charming person, and waiter.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We went there for a pizza. The prices are high for the quality of the food and the quantity of ingredients on it is not that generous. On top of that not even 2 hours later we try to go back for the desert and some drinks and we were refused a table if we did not eat a full meal, despite explaining that we just had lunch there. This is shameful.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Very nice and helpful waiters as well as the owner. Great Italian touch, they also speak Italian, English and Dutch. Italian just for the environment. :) Great choice of pizzas of all kinds. The dough was a bit overbaked, but the taste was still great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The outer appearance of this place didn't do justice to the true Italian quality that awaits you inside. Real Italian pizza dough that's nice and thin and crunchy! Fresh ingredients, proper olives and friendly service. We were too hungry for a photo but can highly recommend the Vegetariana with Salami and the fungi with gorgonzola.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It wasn't as expensive as I had expected it to be, the food was really great. I truly do recommend getting the Spaghetti Carbonara. The only thing is that it almost seemed like the staff tried not to take our orders, they hardly even looked my table's way. There's a little tarras where you can sit, there's an actual inside and there's also a glass inside that's fairly open but not quite outside. it's in the middle of Bergen and it's a great place to go after a bit of shopping. There are several other restaurants around it and some expensive clothing stores in the area. it's an Italian restaurant with a main course mainly pastas and pizzas but also fish and meat, or if you are a soup-enjoyer there's also soup. I haven't been to the neighboring places so I can't compare them and tell you which one to go to but I can tell you that this is a safe bet. The drinks aren't too special, just normal, can't complain.
you can go with any group of people, just not to get drunk. children, elderly, teens, everyone's welcome there. there's nothing to keep your kids busy though, but I'm sure that you'll be able to manage as the place isn't too crowded. I do not regret going there
all things considered, pretty good!? I do recommend going to la Terrazza!
