Over mij

Ik ben Manouk van Dijck, moeder van twee kinderen. Het werken met moeder en kind is mijn passie en vakgebied. Naast vrijgevestigde lactatiekundige ben ik tevens werkzaam als neonatologie verpleegkundige in een ziekenhuis.

Na mijn opleiding verpleegkunde ben ik werkzaam geweest op de afdeling verloskunde in een academisch ziekenhuis. Daar heb ik veel zwangeren, kraamvrouwen en barende moeders mogen begeleiden. Na vijf jaar heb ik de overstap gemaakt naar een streekziekenhuis en heb ik de opleiding tot neonatologie verpleegkundige afgerond.

In 2018 kreeg ik de mogelijkheid om de opleiding tot IBCLC lactatiekundige te volgen. Voor mij viel hiermee alles samen. Ik mag ouders begeleiden in een nieuwe fase in hun leven, wat ik elke keer weer heel bijzonder vind. Ik geniet van alle speciale momenten die daarbij komen kijken en ben dankbaar dat ik met mijn begeleiding een belangrijke bijdrage kan leveren.

Ik heb een consult met haar gehad aan huis en daarna meer dan een maand contact via de app. Ze is ontzettend betrokken en haalt alles uit de kast om ervoor te zorgen dat de borstvoeding gaat lukken. Veel tips maar ook echt een steun als je het moeilijk hebt omdat de borstvoeding moeizaam gaatm I can definitely recommend Manouk. She is very knowledgeable and has a lot of patience. I had a consultation with her at home and then more than a month of contact via the app. She is very involved and does everything in her power to ensure that breastfeeding is successful. Lots of tips but also really a support if you are having a hard time because breastfeeding is difficult

Ik kan met zekerheid zeggen dat ik het borstvoeden zonder haar hulp niet had gekund. Manouk heeft ontzettend veel geduld, humor en de nazorg is fantastisch. Als je iemand wil die betrokken is en liefde heeft voor het vak, moet je echt bij haar wezen!! I couldn't have asked for a better lactation consultant. I called in Manouk after quite a few setbacks. I can say with certainty that I would not have been able to breastfeed without her help. Manouk has a lot of patience, humor and the aftercare is fantastic. If you want someone who is involved and has a love for the profession, you really have to be with her!!

We voelden ons geliefd door de liefdevolle wijze waarop Manouk ons benaderd heeft. Ze nam alle tijd om de ondersteuning die ze ons gegeven heeft af te ronden. Een topper en zeker een aanrader voor alle vragen rondom de borstvoeding van je kindje! Manouk's help was fantastic. Manouk takes all the time to listen to you and to think along with you in a way that suits you and your child. We felt loved by the loving way in which Manouk approached us. She took all the time to complete the support she gave us. A topper and definitely recommended for all questions about breastfeeding your baby!

Zij heeft mij heel goed geholpen en blijft ook na het consult regelmatig contact houden. De nazorg is fantastisch. Zij komt met nieuwe ideeën en probeert alles zo duidelijk mogelijk uit te leggen. Ook al is dit voor de zoveelste keer, ze helpt met heel veel geduld en empathie. I found it quite exciting to approach a lactation consultant, but Manouk immediately removed all tension. She has helped me very well and continues to keep in touch regularly after the consultation. The aftercare is fantastic. She comes up with new ideas and tries to explain everything as clearly as possible. Even if this is the umpteenth time, she helps with a lot of patience and empathy.

Na het consult heeft ze alle informatie gedeeld via de mail (erg fijn om alles na te lezen ?). De weken na het consult hebben we ook nog regelmatig contact gehad via whatsapp, ideaal! Als je vragen hebt of het niet helemaal wil lukken met de borstvoeding zou ik zeker aanraden om contact op te nemen met Manouk. Manouk's help was super nice! During the consultation she answered all my questions and we practiced postures together. After the consultation she shared all the information via email (very nice to read everything ?). In the weeks after the consultation we also had regular contact via whatsapp, which is ideal! If you have any questions or if you do not want to succeed with breastfeeding, I would definitely recommend contacting Manouk.
