About Landhotel Diever, in het groene Drenthe (bij Dwingeloo)
Landhotel Diever kent een lange geschiedenis. Het oorspronkelijke Armenwerkhuis, als onderdeel van de kerk is na de Tweede Wereldoorlog gerund als manege annex herberg onder de naam ‘t Ruterhuus. In 1997 is de huidige hotelvleugel aangebouwd. Doel was om hier ook minder validen te kunnen ontvangen. Dit verklaart waarom alle kamers gelijkvloers zijn met deur naar buiten. Net als de brede gangen en automatische entree. Ideaal!
Nadat het bedrijf gerund is als conferentieoord en whiplashinstituut, namen we het pand over in 2008. Sindsdien hebben we Landhotel opgebouwd tot een goed hotel/restaurant, waarbij het contact met onze gasten en de kwaliteit van uw ontvangst, de overnachting, het eten en alles er om heen hoog moet zijn. Onze doelstelling is u vaak terug te zien! Iets wat meer dan 60% van onze gasten dan ook regelmatig doet!
Moeders is sinds 2016 met pensioen, ik heb met veel plezier de dagelijkse leiding met Heino Woldhuis als rechterhand sinds oktober 2020.

Me and my mother both rather had tea instead of coffee, and although it was not included in our deal there was no hassle with payment. Also a restaurant with a really nice, calm and relaxed atmosphere.

We also had a really nice "meeting" with a tame robin who greeted us outside ?

The food was very good, the rooms were good and had a really nice view on a pasture of friendly sheep. The service and kindness of the staff is certainly the biggest plus I'd give Landhotel Diever. Always a friendly smile, always helpful. A true pleasure to stay here.
