β β β β β LATO IS AS PERSONAL AS IT IS PROFESSIONAL.
About a year ago, I felt like challenging my brain into learning a new language. Modern Greek seemed like a good idea: it's a language with an extremely rich history, those who speak it are some of the warmest and most passionate people I know, and Greece is a country I've been wanting to visit for ages now.
So I looked up some schools in Amsterdam to learn the language, and I struck lucky!
Katerina has taught me so much in so little time. The lessons were tailored to my learning capacities (and working schedule) and each lesson had me more and more inspired about the language and the culture.
Do yourself a favour and learn at Lato!

β β β β β I loved having Greek lessons with Lato, Katerina was super friendly and an amazing teacher - she explained everything clearly and made sure to cover all the basics in grammar and start building my vocabulary. I was a bit hesitant to do lessons online but the experience was definitely worthwhile, and they are very accommodating to online learning!
My experience with Lato has definitely strengthened my background in Greek and given me a strong base to further learn and practice my Greek.
Definitely recommend :)

β β β β β Katerina is very friendly, yet professional, and extremely flexible and accommodating. Her lessons are well prepared and structured and progress at a comfortable pace. The material is varied and of good quality. After trying a few different online Greek language classes, I'm sticking with Lato and look forward to the next level!

β β β β β Very good and professional learning institute if you want to learn, expand or refresh your knowledge of the Greek language! I opted for the private lessons and these courses are really adapted to your personal needs. After an evaluation and personal talk, the courses are pretty made to measure. Lessons can be 1 or 1,5 hour and preferable time scales are flexible. I learned a lot about the Greek language in a rather short time and it has really helped me develop my skills! The teacher, Katerina, is very helpful and friendly and I find it very comforting that she is available both in class and online if I need help or more details/ information.
Definitely would recommend!

β β β β β I have just completed Basic 1 online Lato Greek courses with Katerina. I am signing up for the next one because I have so enjoyed the classes with Katerina. Katerina is very expert but it's her kindness, warmth and generosity that made all the difference to me (especially as I am not a natural at languages so Greek is difficult).

β β β β β Having joined the in-person beginner evening class, I found it to be a fantastic experience. Katerina is a very patient and attentive teacher and is responsive and engaging to help us learn. For any questions outside of the class hours, she'll always answer them almost immediately. With her support and the dynamic of those in the classroom, I really felt that I've made a significant step forward in my Greek and looking forward to joining the next class.
