I needed lease car. But before getting final decision, Decided to contact LeasePlan to check their agreements and conditions. Contacted via chat, spent 20 minutes, explained what I need, sent them my email and got promise to receive all the necessary information on email Week is gone, nothing in my mailbox, nobody contacted me. This is good example of "excellent" customer support. Will I use LeasPlan? - no, will I advise leaseplan? - no!!!

Bought a second-hand car with a tow bar attached. I now need to change my rear bumper and remove the tow bar for it. CarNext/LeasePlan never gave me the key for the tow bar. When asked if they could find the key or help me get one, they told me it wasn’t their problem but mine. They never give the keys for tow bar installed on the cars they sell. Very bad customer service. I won’t be doing business with any CarNext or LeasePlan in the future.

Too bad I still have to give 1 star and it's not possible to give 0 stars. We rented a car with LeasePlan about 3 years ago. From the start I should've had my doubts, because the arrival of the car was delayed several times. Now I understand that this might happen, however not a single notification was given. My girlfriend was pregnant at the time and we planned to receive the car several months before her due date. Leaseplan however managed to give us a date for the car to arrive, the day would pass, not a single message was given. This happened several times. Communication: 0 out of 5 stars. The guy who brought the car told us the instruction manual was not in the car, but it would arrive soon. Never arrived. When I used the passenger mirror, a handwritten note fell out which said in French: ''rear-brake malfunction'' or something similar. The car would break with the emergency brake, sometimes on the highway going 130 km/h without notification or danger. I had to manually turn off the emergency brake every time I drove the car. Only after a software update this stopped. Inventory: 0 out of 5 stars. We got a 3 year lease. Halfway through we had to transfer the car in a different name, I was promised on the phone that the contract was transferred as it was originally made. However at the end we received an additional invoice because the car was now in a different range of km/year. Keep in mind, the average was still below the 15,000 per year! But because we drove less in the first half, and more in the 2nd half, we still had to pay the addional costs for the 2nd half. Of course I tried to explain the situation to LeasePlan, but they remained very distant, didn't try to find a solution. Finances: 0 out of 5 stars. If it wasn't clear yet: Don't rent a car at LeasePlan. Just don't.

Horrible customer service. Had to call three times to make an appointment to have my car repaired. First garage LP referred me to didnt have a contract with LP to repair windows. Took 15 mins to find out. Second garage never called me back and then said that they need my car for one full day, but could not arrange a replacement car… Third time I called, this LP call center employee took 40(!) mins to schedule an appointment. Got no words for this.

very bad customer service. When delivering the car they charged me for extra damage which was not there at the delivery. No pictures taken from that damage initially. The guy on the phone was rude when i tried to address that issue and asked for proof the damage was there.
