G	George Pneumaticos on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Miserable service for what should be a joyful place. I regularly buy a €15 box of chocolates for my family upon returning from Amsterdam business trips. While paying for my box yesterday, I had an urge for a little chocolate but didn't want to open the gift box. I asked if there was any chance of a single chocolate for myself. The woman (Chantal?) said "We don't give samples". I said "That's a shame, I'm a good customer". She said "In Holland they say, if you ask, you don't get". All this with the same stone face with which she greeted me earlier. I said "That's a shame - In Greece, they say if you don't ask, you don't get". Given that the brilliant founder of the Leonidas chocolate company was a Greek in Belgium, maybe the manager of this Schiphol branch should urge the staff to adopt some semblance of Greek hospitality and generosity.

I graze on the chocolate over a couple of weeks. I’m not sure how Leonidas is not a top 10 chocolatier and I am baffled at how Vosges Haut Chocolat and Godiva are. You will not be disappointed by these chocolates. They are worth every euro.

The staff at this location are always fantastic and the product quality is always consistent and excellent! I would highly recommend stopping by for a prepackaged treat or a custom box as a surprise for family or friends!
G	GoodnessG on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I am a regular buyer of Leonidas chocolates and was happy to see a branch in Schipol airport. The young lady was ok, patient with me choosing. However, the turn off of the whole experience is that they don't give free sample/s (one piece would have sufficed) QUITE THE OPPOSITE in Belgium! In Brussels, they are always so keen to give you out a sample, especially if you are making a purchase. It's quite logical! I say as an avid customer and lover of such brand, they should look into at least pleasing a frequent buyer of a free piece for every purchase when they politely ask. ?

I was met by an empty counter and after a while the employee, who was sort of laying at her desk in the office, had time to come if her phone and help me. I asked for the “grand” box, the employee answered that she was out of the “grand” packaging and showed me an internal note explaining where the boxes where (backroom). So I asked for a kind of chocolate and hoped to get the whites and plain chocolates, she was amazed and agitated while I looked for more chocolates. At home I understood her amazement because I got all white chocolates. I guess a communication error. I reported this ordeal to Leonidas and after the automated reply I haven’t heard anything. This premium brand chocolates has people working behind the counter that don’t live up to the premium image this brand has. The complaints department is as worthless as it’s counter workers. I love their chocolates though, I never had an issue in Antwerp, Arnhem, Nijmegen, Eindhoven, Hasselt or any other store and even at Schiphol.
