β β β β β I've seen Leon for bodywork for the past 4 years. He is unlike any other fysio therapist I've seen in NL. He assesses my range of movement and condition at the start of each session. He has a large repertoire of techniques and his treatments are completely customized to my needs at that moment. He has helped me dramatically with my neck issues related to years of working behind a computer.

β β β β β Leon is more than a regular therapist: he's very skilled, intuitively understanding where blocks and resistance are held in the body. His work is deep, always showing me where my attention is needed and always supporting the process I'm in at the time of the session. Needless to say he creates a safe space for you to simply be and receive. And the results are there every time. If I lived in Amsterdam I'd surely be there more often! Highly recommended

β β β β β Leon is an incredible healer. He marries his osteopathy and physiotherapy practice perfectly. Very knowledgeable in both fields as well. He really listens to your story, background and your input, which is one of the most important skills a clinician can have. From what I can tell, he uses a very effective blend of anatomical knowledge, reasoning, probing and physical tests, with a bit of intuition to get a sense of underlying problem of the symptoms.
In my case, I came to Leon after I had had a diagnosis of a bulging disc from another physiotherapist. But after having seen the other physiotherapist for several times I was still in a quite bit of pain. I came to Leon who in one session helped me a lot more to alleviate the underlying problem causing the symptom. I was frankly quite surprised that by the next day it had improved soo much. As a medical student myself, I very much appreciate how he approaches the human body as a dynamic and complex system. That kind of holistic thinking is hard to find in the specialistic clinicians of today. So he has a very holistic approach, rather than just focusing solely on muscle, or solely on fascia, or solely on bones etc.
