β β β β β Not as cheap as it used to be, but becoming more and more complete each day. It used to be that you had to go to Lidl for cheap, basic groceries, and then to another supermarket for anything out of the ordinary. But no longer. Lidl is not "just another Aldi" anymore, but prices have risen accordingly.
Whatever the case may be, you can't beat their produce section! Excellent fruit and vegetables for an affordable price!

The fruits option are superb, you can find imported fruits like cherry, peach and so on where other supermarkets don't have. And more life appliances, such as air frier...

β β β β β Spacious Lidl with a good selection of fresh produce and fruit! The bakery is good too! Some of the best Pasteis de Nata you can get in a dutch supermarket! Self checkout makes paying quicker without having to stay in line - although the random checks sometimes slow down the experience! Staff was nice and helpful when requested!

β β β β β The Lidl here in Leiden NL seems to have more choice of products than at home in the UK.
More deli products, cheeses, even some of the juices, fruit and veg. It would be great to get some Dutch items, not just Greek, Italian French week! Very nice shopping experience.
