★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Looierssluis is a small bridge holding the name of Looiersgracht, the canal it spans at Prinsengracht. It is a closed spandrel deck arch bridge faced with red brick. The iron rails on top of the bridge are usually lined with bikes, creating a classic Amsterdam scene reflected in many of the smaller canals of the city. The current bridge was restored in the 1980's to reflect its original design from the eighteenth century.
