Al vanaf 1976 wordt deze gemoedelijke en sfeervolle lunchroom uitgebaat door Eef Mulders (oud-voetbalinternational) en zijn vrouw Kitty. Tegenwoordig bijgestaan door zoon Ronny is “de Bagatelle” al jaren een begrip in Den Bosch.
Gastvrij, bourgondisch, ongedwongen en huiselijk zijn kernwaarden die gekoesterd worden bij lunchroom “de Bagatelle”. Vanuit een open keuken bereidt de chef-kok overheerlijke gerechtjes voor waarvan u zowel binnen in de ruim bemeten huiskamer als buiten op het gezellige verwarmde terras kunt genieten.
Samen met een enthousiast team staat de familie Mulders zeven dagen in de week voor u klaar. Wip eens binnen zodat ook u in restaurant/lunchroom “de Bagatelle” aan den lijve de Bossche gastvrijheid kunt ervaren onder het genot van tal van heerlijkheden.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small and cozy, like they describe themselves. Very friendly staff and fast, but not pushy, service. Wonderfull choice of dishes. Our order of grilled gambas in a smooth sauce with fresh chilli peppers and garlic tasted like there were walnuts in it too, which flavour combines very well with any schrimp. The beef tenderloin was served in a little pot with a full flavoured Stroganov sauce. Both dishes served with a fresh salad and dressing as well as a basket of delicious crispy fries to dip in either the sauce or the accompanied real mayo. Bring cash or a debit card, cause unfortunately they do not take credit cards.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Cute place for brunch. We really enjoyed our time. Lots of shops nearby..Tried the infamous 's-Hertogenbosch specialty ‘Bossche bol’ originated and found there..yum. There were only one server for the entire outdoor area and she did a great job and great service.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ What should you do when visiting Den Bosch? Indeed, eat a Bossche bol from Jan de Groot which comes perfectly with a coffee. You can get them from the bakery directly, but also at some locals eatery's in the city center. The place is big and the staff is friendly.
