Beautiful church with lovely volunteers. My granddaughter was allowed to ring the clock. Of course she thought that was wonderful.

Voor de mediëvistiek vereniging is dit een graag geziene locatie voor lezingen en evenementen.
Spacious rooms, good (church-like) acoustics, very good coffee and a concerned gentleman pastor.
This is a welcome location for lectures and events for the Medieval Studies Association.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Bijzonder kerkgebouw bestaande uit de vroegere rooms-katholieke kapel van het Abraham Doleklooster en een dwars daarop staand woonhuis dat van buitenaf niet de indruk mocht vestigen, dat daar een Lutherse kerk gevestigd was. Want ook de Lutherse kerk was na de reformatie door het gereformeerde stadsbestuur verboden net als zo vele andere kerkgenootschappen. De decoraties zijn wat overdreven voor een Lutherse kerk maar die stammen nog uit de tijd dat dit een R.K. Kloosterkapel was.
Special church building consisting of the former Roman Catholic chapel of the Abraham Doleklooster and a dwelling transverse to it that from the outside should not give the impression that a Lutheran church was located there. Because even the Lutheran church was banned by the Reformed city council after the reformation, just like so many other denominations. The decorations are a bit exaggerated for a Lutheran church but they date from the time that this was an R.K. Monastery chapel was.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Een kleine kerk in het centrum van Utrecht. Het is een oude kloosterkerk dat de Lutheranen hebben opgekocht. Het is een mooie kerk om even bij langs te gaan. De ingang is apart, want deze staat loodrecht op de kerk. Aan de andere kant van de kerk, ter hoogt van het koor, kan op het oude kloosterterrein wandelen. Dit terrein is een oase van rust in het centrum van Utrecht.
A small church in the center of Utrecht. It is an old monastery church that the Lutherans have bought. It is a beautiful church to visit. The entrance is separate, because it is perpendicular to the church. On the other side of the church, at the height of the choir, you can walk on the old monastery grounds. This site is an oasis of peace in the center of Utrecht.
