★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A small (5 tables) and very cosy cafe with a charming and vintage atmosphere. While you're sitting you can see the homy kitchen where the owner prepares warm drinks, homemade hot chocolate and moreover a homemade apple tart which is just excellent. Crunchy but also mellow, not too sweet and with the perfect amount of cinnamon. Fresh whipped cream can be added. I'll go back to Leiden only to have a slice of this tart.
