★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Excellent specialty coffee roasted on site. Tasted filter, espresso and cortado. The milk was very tasty too, harmonized well with the espresso. Very kind staff. Nice interior and lovely terrace at waterfront. Worth the detour.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Borgman & Borgman was my go-to place for specialty coffee in Leiden, whenever I wanted to grab a coffee or buy some beans for home use. However, quite disappointed after my last visit and will make sure to not go back there again. Was here on a Sunday to grab a coffee, ordered a filter coffee just to be told that the place was too busy and they can't make one. Needless to say, 5 mins after, a person sitting at a table next to me received a filter coffee and when I went to pay at the counter, they were preparing another one. Would have been ok if the place would have become less busy, but in the meantime it just became more packed. Not really the good way to treat you customers.
