Magic Tattoo is sinds 1984 gevestigd in hartje Utrecht en heeft zich in de loop der jaren ontwikkeld tot een van de modernste, meest gerespecteerde en klantvriendelijkste tattoo shops van Nederland. ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I had an interesting experience with these guys today. Eventually did not get the tattoo so I cannot comment on the talent of the artist but I can tell you about their approach. After making it very clear where i want the tattoo a few times, he drafted it on a slightly different location and we had a disagreement. Now, this can happen but what made me walk out of the shop without getting the tattoo was his entire attitude. I told him I wasn’t convinced of the location and as it is something which will stay forever I want to think a little bit. And his response was “What do you mean, i set up everything!” to pressure me to get the tattoo at a location I was not convinced. This attitude was unacceptable. As i said, i dont know about his talent but I certainly can assure you he didn’t have the best customer friendly approach.

All of the folks there were not only professional (I got 6 awesome tats in one sitting), but they were so friendly and the atmosphere so chilled, it was like coming home. I'll be a regular for sure.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great shop, artists and vibe. Friendly people with the right amount of artistic weirdness about them. I approached Anthony with my ideas which he translated (and altered) to a first sketch. A little stencilling and tribals done freehand. His skill level is insane.
Eventually I had 4 sittings, all of them felt like being at home.
I am very proud of the end result and I am sure I will come back to get some more ink.
