Quiet area while still central. Friendly staff. Very clean. However is basically a bead and breakfast. Superior room are small, bathrooms minimalistic, while room was for 2 person, the bath things was for one person only. No iron or iron bar in room. Iron Bar hangs in the corridor and you have to go get iron yourself!! This is unacceptable for a hotel rated 4 star. Food not eatable. Breakfast was minimum but ok. I had asked upper floor rooms and view to front and it was confirmed but i was given ground floor looking into back of hotel, which has large windows but you cant open them because has access from hotel garden and avery one can get in. Do i go there again ? For max 2 nights yes but more than that no as service offered is very limited

Great location, particularly in Spring and Summer when the leafy Maliebaan avenue and the garden are at their best. Close to the center of action in Utrecht (Voorstraat) and to many restaurants and cafes in the students district. The facility is still in a quiet part of town. Rooms, a bit dated. The gardens and balconies are lovely to enjoy either at dawn or sunset

Nice city hotel, very affordable. Cheap rooms are very small but clean, modern and nicely styled. Personel is kind and helpfull. There was some noice of other guests but it did not disturb us. 3 minutes walk from busses to the city centre. 7 minutes to cafes and supermarket. 20 minutes to city Center. Walking to the station will take some more then half an hour. Bus will take you there in 10 minutes.

The hotel was ok but we paid €150 a night for a small room with no bathtub and a clogged showerdrain. The breakfast was also just good. Not what you would expect for such a hefty price. I would have expected more after booking months in advance. The customer service was great. However, housekeeping was very slow. All in all I feel ripped off and will never return to the Malie Hotel.

Great hotel in a very cool part of Utrecht. The rooms are quite and cozy, the airco works very well and the bathroom has a decent size. The staff is very friendly. Great value for money.

Very nice hotel. Staff is very friendly. Breakfast is good, too. Location is about 10 minutes from Utrecht center, but that makes it a much quieter neighborhood. Room was very good - lots of lighting options, I got a balcony, which I didn't ask for, espresso machine, etc. Not a great TV, but who needs that?

Rooms are fairly spacious, staff - nice. Breakfast is good, worth mentioning is fresh orange juice, self-made. Location - it is in residential area, fairly quiet neighbourhood, but not much to do around - and hotel doesn't have restaurant. Good 20 minutes walk to the city centre. It feels tired. Old TV in the room, old locks, a lot of noise from shutting doors around, people talking, etc. At the time, it was chilly outside, the windows were unable to stop the cold. Heater was working full time but barely able to worm up the room. No fridge. It doesn't feel like 4 stars at all.

This hotel looks nice enough, however is a bit frazzled at the edges, creaking at the joints. Nice enough staff, nice looking lobby. My room was a bit cramped, I felt a bit lost, tucked away in a corner. Space optimized to the max and no kidding. Anyway, cramped as my quarters were, it was enough for me, the room had a good bed with a thick, firm and comfy mattress, shower wasn't bad either. Room felt clean, although a bit outdated, with some weird leftover wooden construction next to the desk. Perhaps destined for a removed lamp? Didn't try the breakfast. Had a good night's rest!
