★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I don’t know what is better... the friendly staff, or the food! I’ve been eating here 3 times a week. The lentil soup is decadent. The wraps are packed with fresh flavors. This place takes a lot of pride in its food. I’m a fan!

We had the Mazza Platter and falafel and they were delicious.
Take away is also available.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ So happy Mama’s Keuken opened a food shop in Van Woustraat. I usually don’t take out food, but I love everything at Mama’s. All dishes I tried are delicious - and I think I tried them all. Staff is super friendly and welcoming. One can take away or eat it at the big table. Best hummus (several kinds, all good), stewed eggplant, beans and so much kindness. Forget about Maoz; staff at Mama’s seem to prepare food with passion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing Syrian take away (though there are also a couple of tables inside that the very friendly staff were happy for us to eat at). The most delicious falafel, hummus and flat bread we have ever had - and great value, particularly the wraps. Will definitely visit again if we are ever back in Amsterdam - thank you for a great experience!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ My falafel & hummus bowl was excellent, I can just start with that. The guys were really nice. The falafel tastes really fresh, it’s crispy not soggy. The hummus was smooth, perfectly balanced garlic and oil. The only thing I would’ve wanted with my bowl was a piece of that flat bread, a half piece would be excellent. Also, the yoghurt sauce and the salad dressing is served in a very small plastic cup, even though we ate our meal at the place. More sauce, a piece of bread and no plastic would make this perfect. Then again the taste was so good, I couldn’t score it anything below 5. My partner enjoyed the lentil soup. Tasty, thick and covered with some crispy flat bread. He also ate the classic wrap with a spicy sauce. I tasted both and those too were delish. Highly recommend this place. Mind you, there’s only 3 tables.

It's fully vegetarian btw, and super filling.
Service is excellent, staff is super very friendly and you'd love to go there again.
Falafel is super nice. Try the falalfel with hummus (spicy if you're up for it), tres delicious.
They deliver home using deliveroo and those delivery apps.
Other vegetarian dishes: hummus, musaka, aubergine.. etc.
While I was there, it happened that they were making a fresh falafel patch and they offer me and my wife one (they offered us one, and daymn it was mmmm tastey).
In short, its a nice place to eat in ?.
