★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this market. They have everything you need; fruits and vegetables, meats and fish, amazing breads, sweets and STROOPWAFELS (a typical Dutch treat you must try!!). Don’t forget to visit Miek’s Koffie enzo for a nice cup of coffee or homemade meal. They even have some little seats and tables in the middle of this lively market.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The Hof is a great square for either lunch or dinner or just going out for drinks, plenty good restaurants and a great pool bar called the break, gets busy on the weekends but there are lots of seats and tables all the way around the square. La scala does nice pizzas, palas athene has nice food.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Love this market! There are a few of each sort of stall, so it's not hard to find what you want, or to look around and find something that you didn't even know you wanted.
(Bert Bos is the better fishmonger, in my experience.) The atmosphere is always great, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Such a nice place in the center of Amersfoort. Really kickback here with a local coffee and some fresh sandwiches or get groceries for your evening meal. The atmosphere here is extremely friendly and easy going. I enjoy sitting at the pond in the sun with my girl and watch life unfold before me.
