★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Decent little park that is next to a busy crossing. The locals use it for their fitness route and dog owners are there frequently. If you go over the Utrechtse brige that is right next to it, you have a lovely view of the Amstel river, the houseboats and the city.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Honestly, this is my absolute most favorite park in Amsterdam. The bit next to Amstel Boathouse is my favourite summer destination. Neat, peaceful and not too crowded most of the time, MLK is truly my most cherished destination. The Gemeente looks after it and plants flowers each year, while trees are looked after and tended to as needed.
