About Mauve Brasserie & Bar
Bar Mauve is de locatie om business meetings, private dinners of een ‘hei-dag’ te organiseren. Onze inspirerende bar is geheel afgesloten en zowel de bar als de veranda en het terras zijn de hele dag of een dagdeel te reserveren. Uiteraard verzorgt Mauve custom made menu’s van healthy lunches, sweets & savoury in de middag als exquise diners ’s avonds. Business breakfasts behoren ook tot de mogelijkheden met een heerlijk breakfast menu naar wens samengesteld. Qua equipment is alles aanwezig, zoals een groot scherm, beamer en microfoon.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grumpy staff and very small portions of food do not make your stay here recommendable. Details like a non-stop flushing toilet make you feel like the place is on its way down. This is not reflected in the prices, that move in the other direction. Used to be much better.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Had a couple of wines at Mauve, the part which used to be the Anton Bar. It was open again, hurray! Very nice area, and relaxing atmosphere. Service was super, and we got a surprise lunch as the big party before us left a whole tray of untouched, freshly made carpaccio and cheese bread behind at the counter. As the waitress did not want it to go to waste, she offered us and other tables if we wanted a piece. Which we and the others did. Yummy!! Very nice. And very nice of her to offer it otherwise it would have been chucked out. Wine was nice, beer too. We will return again and I hope that they will not close it again...and in summer the outside sidewalk terrace is nice, too!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The reviews must be fake, because on the three times I have been here the food takes 60 minutes to arrive... the staff does not warn you or apologize for the wait either. Food is mediocre, not enough vegetarian options.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Nice outdoor seating area, but on the expensive side. They have nice tea and the lunch was also good. However, I missed the fact that there was a poffetjeskraam across the street in the park, otherwise I would have chosen that option.
