β β β β β In every hotel I have been so far I was able to store my baggage during check in and check out times somewhere for a couple hours. Unfortunately this hotel has small lockers which you have to pay for. Our guitar didnβt fit in and there was no flexibility whatsoever. When I mentioned that I was not very happy with the situation I was told that they are a student hotel and that I canβt expect any better. Even as a student I donβt want to be treated like this, not to mention that prices are not very student like.

β β β β β We stayed in in the West location for a night and it was definitely nice and quiet adequate but this hotel was much nicer and far more spacious. The bunk beds for kids was super and there were plenty of places to sit in the lobby area. If you're trying to decide which location to choose go with this one. We will definitely stay here again the next time we're in Amsterdam.

β β β β β You know a hotel is cheap when they do anything they can to make money off non refundable reservations. I know it's a risk you take when you book it that way, but these guys don't care about any circumstances. My wife had a routine check up and something bad was found so she was scheduled for surgery. Obviously I had to cancel the trip. They didn't care at all, cheap hotel desperate to make money off anyone that books non refundable. I wasn't planning on canceling, I was 100% sure I'd go, which is obvious by the fact that I booked non refundable. But these guys don't care about any emergency or anything. They're happy they made their almost 200 euro without even giving a room away. Very cheap indeed (and I don't mean price wise).
To me it doesn't really matter, it was only 175 euro, so not a whole lot, but I wanted to post this in case anyone else might make the same mistake and expect these fellas to act human-like. Spoiler: they won't. They're very hungry, and they like free money when they can get it (who doesn't?).
I hope you enjoyed my 175 euro. Consider it a present for all the hardship you guys went through in the netherlands. Now that the restrictions are lifted, go have yourself a nice night out with it.
Definitely not going to book with them again, refundable or not. There are far greater places in amsterdam that are customer focused and not desperate to milk any money they can from anyone. Thanks for reading.

β β β β β I've been in the hostel for almost 2 months overall and it exceded my expectations. The common areas are comfortable and warm, the rooms are nice with nice bathrooms and perfect showers( even though even if you book a room alone you still have 4 beds or more which makes the rooms kinda small). The staff is nice, available and happy to help. The nearest station is unbelievably close, incredible how is not shown in any picture, also in general is in a very comfortable area, with a bike you are 15 mins from everything. The kitchen is fairly equipped. The only troubles I had were with other guests but that's something above the staff's control, even though there always seem to be a problem when a problematic guests tries to book again ;) Overall a great experience and a good alternative while searching for a proper house in Amsterdam(which can be troublesome). I'll defenitly book again if I need an accomodation in Amsterdam

β β β β β My first visit in Amsterdam ended up in cheapest hotel I could find. Place itself is really nicely located: tram, metro, train and bus are 50m away from entrance. Building is new, really modern and good looking inside and outside. Receptionists are very helpful and understanding, they will provide any information needed. Parking is super expensive. There is only one (sic!) kitchen for 6 floors of rooms. Kitchen itself was very dirty and most of the things were not working. People there (mostly young) don't care about shared stuff. Rooms are very small, no fridge, no shelf, no kettle, one very small table and single seating. No AC, and closed shut window.
Overall next time I would spend bit more on a hotel with separate kitchen and fridge, as you simply can't exist without such things.

β β β β β It is a nice hotel, but I would say more like hostel type. Room is very basic, just beds and small table. There is no wardrobe, only a drawer under each bed. Bed is quite narrow with spring mattress. Cleanliness is on high standards. Reception was welcome and helpful. Pretty happy with a one night stay.

β β β β β The hotel is clean, located very close to a big train station, and very cheap. I didn't like the fact that even the private rooms have those bunker beds, but for that price it's completely fine. They even have a shared kitchen for the guests, that is amazing!
The bathroom is very nice.
One star less because the ventilation system sometimes makes quite a bit of noise during night. There is no way to turn it off completely. Also, if you're there with your partner be prepared that you can move two beds next to each other, but the mattresses keep moving away.
