★ ★ ★ ★ ★ For a beer connoisseur, Melger's is your best option in Haarlem. Their selection of everything from super local, to fresh hoppy stuff from across the pond, to Belgian classics and Scandinavian craft beer is awesome. I also enjoy buying wine and spirits here on occasion.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was on the hunt for specialty beers, and was recommended Melger's by a wine shop down the street. The selection here is unbelievable. Beers from around the world, and even a Belgian beer I'd been hunting for a couple years. Nothing is refrigerated, so make sure you have ice if you're stopping on the way to the beach. The shop has a very large selection of wines and spirits, too.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ SO MANY beers to choose from. Very similar to Total Wine in US. The beer selection is largest, then the liquor. Not a huge wine selection but the wines they do offer are very good.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best beer and spirits collection in Haarlem and surroundings. I usually get an empty crate and fill it up with rare brews from around the world. From Boulevard tank 7 Kansas city to all the Jopen and Uijltje you can think of.
