 Beautiful windmill. You can walk around it nicely. Too bad you can't get in now.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Eine sehr schöne Windmühle zum heben von Wasser, was wir nach einer Weile erkannt. Drauf hin habe ich mal auf mein Navi geschaut und dort gesehen, dass wir etwa drei Meter unter dem Normalwasserspiegel waren. Das ist ein beeindruckende Technik, mit der die Leute in der Gegend ihr Land gewonnen hatten.
A very nice windmill for lifting water, which we recognized after a while. On the other hand, I looked at my navigation system and saw that we were about three meters below the normal water level. This is an impressive technique used by people in the area to gain their land.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Langs de ANWB Terpelân route ligt deze prachtige molen. Goed onderhouden en voor de fotograaf een mooie mogelijkheid voor een "Hollands plaatje" Je kunt hem van achter het hek bekijken of, als het hek niet afgesloten is, ook van heel dichtbij. De molen doet dienst als backup gemaal ten tijde van wateroverlast.
This beautiful mill is located along the ANWB Terpelân route. Well maintained and for the photographer a great opportunity for a "Dutch picture". You can view it from behind the gate or, if the gate is not closed, also from very close. The mill serves as a backup pumping station during flooding.
