Een leuk jong team, en vriendelijke bediening. Het eten is prima, verzorgd en vol smaak. Goed aan de prijs, maar de kwaliteit is daar ook naar. Op zich dus niets mis mee. Toch een paar puntjes van aandacht. Het restaurant is een redelijk grote ruimte met veel tafeltjes, als het druk is kan je elkaar aan tafel nog lastig verstaan. De toevoeging van monotone “bonkmuziek” op de achtergrond draagt dan alleen maar bij tot meer herrie en onverstaanbaarheid. De voorgerechten kunnen alleen “to share” worden besteld. Dat is leuk als je met je partner bent, maar voor een zakelijker diner (of bij alleen mannen onder elkaar) toch minder passend. Biedt een alternatief voor de gasten die geen ‘to share’ behoefte hebben.

Food is great.... Music ..oeff..not in balance if you ask me...ceiling boxes not well placed....

Nice place with a wide menu (lunch and diner). It's a huge place and they have quite some staff as well. Little of the busy centres but with parking spaces in front well reachable.

Very nice atmosphere and good service

Went today for the fist time. Service nice and very polite server. Service overall waited a substantial amount of time between the dishes. Food quality oysters very fresh and well chucked, however the vinegrette was too acidic that the lemons in comparison where mild. Also a kind of curry sauce was totally inappropriate and did not go well with fresh oysters.. rather a bad choice for pairing Calamari rings for the amount and price an embarrassment works out to about about 1 euro per calamari ring, plating and arrangement of the food was non existent and more like a canteen dish ( un-imaginary) Finally the spicy edamame- was total disaster. Edamame are rather delicate in taste, but this version had been flooded with bottled soya sauce to such extend it had become inedible. All I tasted was soy sauce ! Not really impressed with the food quality for a restaurant more like a very expensive “ broodjeszaak” . It’s a real pity..

This is the most recent hotel in Voorburg, which opened doors in the old premises of the Hotel Movenpick. It has a restaurant, which seems to be very popular, Miss Jones, always fully booked and with good ratings. Since I don’t trust in the food taste of Dutch people, I went to check this restaurant with my own eyes and my own taste. I only managed to get a place for lunch last Saturday. The place was very well restored, great ambience inside, cozy and with nice dark light. And that was all on positive aspects. 1. The food: since the available choices were not many, I asked for the Jones Burger; what a disappointment. Have you ever tried to taste a burger where the meat is slightly warm and all the rest is absolutely cold? Well, that’s what happened. A burger with cold onion, cold salad, cold sauce…. You hardly tasted the warmth of the meat. Awful. I made my opinion available to the girl that was serving me. Not sure if she passed the message. 2. The service: below average. Too many servants, confusion, mess, not really up to date with the menu. Clearly, some servants who had no experience whatsoever. One of them came to the table clearly with a flu or a heavy cold as she could not stop blowing in… 3. The price: Extremely overpriced for the poor food quality available. Ingredients were very simple and although they were trying to prepare some sight-full small dishes, like the tuna wrap, the result was really nothing special and, above all, not justifying the price paid. In conclusion: what the restaurant had in terms of good ambience, was not compensated in terms of food, service and price. A big disappointment to me.

Uplifting hip vibe, original plating of food, nice wines. Especially liked the real plant wall and Banana plants. Food bit pricy.

If I had to pick a restaurant for a date, Miss Jones would definitely come to my mind. This spot has an eclectic design inspired interior but most importantly the food is great! Miss Jones has an shared dining concept. Luxury street food dishes are central to the menu. The starters are mainly to share and the main courses you can eat it all by yourself.
