Awesome service and a great help for me

My screen was broken so i went to the store on short notice. The owner told me, that he was very busy on that day but he decided to help me anyways. We agreed on a pick up time for the following day and on the costs. Everything went well and my phone works perfectly fine. Thanks a lot.

By far worst experience I ever had. Seems incompetent, does not communicate, is dishonest and deceiving, does not take responsibility for his actions, and wasted both my time and money. I brought my phone in for a new screen. The one good thing he did was find a good quality new screen but that’s where the list of good things ends. After installation, I noticed that one of the sensor modules wasn’t working anymore. He checked it again and claimed it was a defect on the motherboard. Upon opening the device myself to have a look, I noticed that the connector for the module was torn off (see pictures). I confronted him about this but he avoided a proper response with mostly irrelevant statements about me having voided my warranty by opening the device myself and making excuses about having done me a favor with the new screen. From his behavior and beating around the bush, he clearly knew it was his fault but he did not admit to it. He was sure however to point out that I had no legal grounds since I had voided the warranty. During the entire process, incl. before any issues arose, he never communicated well what he was doing, when the job would be done, and overall what he could offer me. Last but definitely not least, during my own repair attempts of the device, I noticed a number of things that indicate his incompetency. Next to most probably ripping off the connector of the sensor module, he did not reinstall more or less vital components such as screws and brackets, left dust under the camera lenses for nice and blurry pictures, and did not properly adhere the back panel of the phone back onto the device. Overall there is nothing I can recommend him for and I wonder how he can run a business like this.
