Eigenaren Antonino Ballarino en Anja Kellner delen hun passie voor de authentieke Italiaanse keuken en Italiaanse wijnen.
Antonino heeft Siciliaanse wortels. Zijn passie voor wijnen is hem met de paplepel ingegoten op de kleine wijngaard van zijn vader aan de voet van de Etna op het eiland Sicilië. Daar studeerde hij ook op de Hogere Hotelschool. Zijn officiële sommelier diploma behaalde Antonino in 2008, maar hij was officieus het grootste deel van zijn werkzame leven al wijnexpert en gastheer voor een van de grootste internationale hotelketens.
Anja ontdekte haar passie voor de traditionele Italiaanse keuken & de wijnen tijdens haar reizen door de verschillende streken van Italië. Zij was al snel gecharmeerd van de Italiaanse gastvrijheid. Toen restaurant Momenti op haar pad kwam twijfelde zij dan ook geen enkel moment om hier onderdeel van uit te willen maken & “la dolce vita” samen met Antonino naar Brielle te brengen. Gastvrijheid staat bij ons dan ook hoog in het vaandel.
In de keuken van Momenti wordt gebruik gemaakt van verse kwaliteitsproducten gerelateerd aan de seizoenen. Daarnaast kunt u bij ons elke maand van een nieuw regiomenu genieten, waarbij wij speciale streekgerechten uit een van de 20 Italiaanse regio’s serveren. De klassieke gerechten van chef Davide bestaan uit verse en pure ingrediënten (“prodotti tipici” D.O.P. en I.G.P.), gepresenteerd in een modern jasje. Hij bereidt deze met veel liefde voor het product, en de met zorg uitgekozen wijnen maken uw bezoek tot een fantastisch Moment(i).

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ We initially came to Brielle for walking Llamas but ended up having the same enjoyment at dinner! We found the restaurant walking through town. We had the bruschetta to start, which additionally came with bread and tapenade. Both of these were delicious and with generous portions. I ordered the ravioli with prosciutto and figs. Normally I am not a fan of figs as they are usually too chewy and overpowering. These were cooked perfectly and complemented the dish well. The ravioli were large, more than enough for one and delicious.
We were quite surprised at the value for of the pasta, and definitely did not need to order an entree to be satisfied.
I have recommended this restaurant to friends and we would go back again.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fantastic food and lovely selection of wine. I recommend ordering the Chefs surprise as you benefit from more choice on your plate when it arrives. Service is friendly and very informative and the restaurant is set in a lovely traditional double height first floor.
Looking forward to our next visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ When I walked in, I was warmly welcomed by the friendly staff. I could see that the staff had a lot of experience. There was plenty of choice to eat, but I missed a pizza on the menu, and the dishes came one after the other. I finally ate a delicious meal.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ During my second visit in Brielle for business in the port, I had the chance to visit Momenti and I was really impressed by the quality of the food, the menu, the wines and the atmosphere. My colleague and myself decided to have dinner at Momenti both the nights we spent in Brielle, as we wanted to taste more from the menu and we will be back at our next visit. A special thank to Antonino and all the staff.
