★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Das ist ein sehr emotionaler Ort wenn man überlegt wie und in welcher Wucht es diesen Stadtteil erwischt hat. Natürlich war in diesem Moment meine Gedanken bei den Toten und deren Angehörigen. Ich kannte Roomberg vor dem Desaster und nun mehr als 20 Jahre nach dem Ereignis hat man eine schöne Anlage erschaffen um sich an das Unglück zu erinnern. Ich danke der Stadt Enschede das sie die Erinnerung wach hält.
 This is a very emotional place when you think about how and in what force it got this district. Of course at that moment my thoughts were with the dead and their relatives. I knew Roomberg before the disaster and now, more than 20 years after the event, a beautiful facility has been created to remember the disaster. I thank the city of Enschede for keeping the memory alive.

Very tangible when you stand there what kind of disaster has occurred..became a beautiful park with new houses.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Blijft indrukwekkend wat hier is gebeurd. Je kunt je niet meer voorstellen hoe het in die tijd moet zijn geweest. Al ruim 20 jaar geleden. Nu lijkt het zo clean. De wijk is weer erg mooi opgebouwd, dat wel. Er is een rondleidster.
Still impressive what happened here. You can't imagine what it must have been like in those days. More than 20 years ago. Now it seems so clean. The neighborhood has been built up very nicely again. There is a tour guide.
