★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Probably some of the best Indian food I've ever had. Recommended by a friend and well worth the money. Service was excellent, portions were filling, and the servers were pleasantly conversational. If I lived in Amsterdam, I'd go here all the time. It's tucked away, but that's why Google is here!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I have ordered food from Mother India for a very long time. So far I had only good experiences until yesterday. It took them 1hour 40min to deliver an order. The food arrived incredibly cold. I had to call them twice to check the status of my order. They didn't even apologize, they just offered pretexts like "we don't have control over our own website". The food arrived very cold and they only gave us a can of coke because of our troubles.
I considered myself a regular customer, but they disappointed me because of how they treated me. I don't like this way of doing business.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Rating based on food quality which is good. In the last years the restaurant has changed into a takeaway, which results in more people from Deliveroo and Thuisbezorgd.nl passing by then visitors which is unfortunate.

On the phone to try to solve the problem, doubting that it was true that I lacked bread, I had to wait another hour for them to bring me the bread, incredible, bad, terrible

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ordered Chana Masala and got Chana Masala soup… souce was so thin and super bland… also ordered garlic naan, that to was very bland and chewie… also ordered kheer and it was lumpy and weird. Super dissapointed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A couple days ago I ordered with the delivery service deliveroo. The rice was nice obviously reheated in the microwave and so was the garlic naan. The only fresh thing they made was the curry. Important, yes. But still the rice is a important factor if you eat curry with it.
I recommend you to not order here. Lots of other great alternatives in the neighborhood.
