It's been a while since I had such a great serving experience! The waitress didn't speak dutch, so we did everything in English. She was both discreet and alert, advising us on what to take in which order. When we ordered a dish for which they had run out of a condiment, they added others which were great as well. All in all a great experience for good value! I'd love to come back soon! Oh, and the food was great too! Nothing too fancy, but still imaginative and properly tasty!

Well that was a nice coming out of lockdown experience. 4 or 5 course fixed menu, so no worrying about what to pick. Surprising and well balanced menu with seafood, fish and venison - might be different next time. Definitely get the wine arrangement, it's well thought-out and they've got a great sommelier. Proper friendly staff as well.

Good spot for drinks and eats throughout the day. Food is good and menu items are - in a good way - different from many places.

Absolutely delicious (and beautiful looking) lunch, retro chic venue, creative cocktails. Worth the ride slightly out of the center.

Nice place for the group or couple. Dinner is simple but delicious. The liquid version of tiramisu is really a treat and very invented surprise. Will go again soon.

Lively place to be on a Friday afternoon. Food can be more refined but good quality.

Me and my partner visited this lovely restaurant last weekend and we were pleasantly surprised by the look of this place. The interior and the vibe of this place is really well thought, the selection of beers is great and the portions of food are generous! The only comment I have is that, nothing is actually giving away that there is a restaurant inside, if it wouldn't be for a food blogger I follow, I wouldn't know this place exist. Doesn't come up as 'near me' (I live at Leidsche Reijn), also the building is called "the blend" and I couldn't see any signboard of the restaurant. Maybe worth looking into it!;-) Generally a lovely visit and would definitely recommend to anyone!:)

THIS REVIEW ONLY APPLIES TO THE "HOF VAN EDEN - Erik van Loo" guest cheff special October 8-10 2021 What a colossal waste of time and money! While the food is decent to great, the portions are so small and the wait is so very very long, that you will leave just as hungry as you entered. Seriously, a 6-course meal doesn't need to take 5 hours. The progression of courses is so painfully slow, that you will be asking for bread refills (otherwise you will go hungry while you wait for hours) and drinks while you are starting to wish you were somewhere else. I seriously wish I had had dinner _before_ I went to this restaurant. Then the waits would be more bearable and we could focus more on the taste. The staff (though friendly) is ultimately under-qualified to handle this setup, nor warrant the price. We had to go to the bar to get our own drinks because staff was nowhere to be seen for stretches of time. The dinner itself: 1st course: "Westlandse Tomaat" Refined, balanced, interesting, fresh, but not very appealing/delicious. 2nd course: "Kreeft" Fantastic ingredients, that - put together - create less than fantastic result. Less than the sum of its parts unfortunately. 3rd course: "Zeetong" Great, buttery, savory, delicous. 4th course: "Langoustine Bresse Kip" Sublime! A++ 5th course: "Kalfswang" Simply a dud. Especially after the preceding fireworks. 6th course/desert: "Appel" My patience had come to an end. Left the restaurant before it could be served. Never done this before in my life. Final bill: €320 for 2 person and 1 friday night. Neither of which I will get back. Erik van Loo may be great in his own restaurants, but perhaps he should stay there.
