A very beautiful building, the front side railings are made from the prints of people, it looks amazing but it was not cheap, well, the beauty requires sacrifices from the pockets of taxpayers)) everything inside is also equipped and easy even for the first visitors and the staff will always tell you if you get confused in what then.

Binnenvaartschepen die in de haven van Deventer moeten laden of lossen moeten voor 2 weken havengeld betalen ook al zijn ze binnen een dag weer weg maar als je het schip dan daadwerkelijk wilt laten liggen,zijn er veel te weinig ligplaatsen. en nog minder moderne voorzieningen zoals stroom- en drinkwatertappunten.Men is hier kennelijk halverwege de vorige eeuw blijven steken ook qua bedieningstijden van sluis en brug.Het enige wat men wel up to date heeft gehouden is de prijs van het havengeld.Dat is ongeveer het dubbele van de meeste andere havens,welliswaar voor twee weken maar wat heb je daar aan als je maar twee dagen nodig hebt?! Nice and cozy city, but the municipality of Deventer still has something to learn in terms of customer friendliness! Inland vessels that have to load or unload in the port of Deventer have to pay port dues for 2 weeks even though they are gone within a day, but if you actually want to leave the ship, there are far too few berths. and even less modern facilities such as electricity and drinking water taps. People apparently got stuck here midway through the last century, also in terms of operating times of locks and bridges. The only thing that has been kept up to date is the price of the port dues. double of most other ports, albeit for two weeks, but what good is that if you only need two days ?!

Gezien alle discussies uit het verleden vraag je toch werkelijk af hoe dat heeft kunnen zijn. Zowel architectonisch als qua gebruiksvriendelijkheid top What a beautiful town hall this has become.
