★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Geweldige ervaring. Was er al eens geweest maar toen was het anders. Leuk museum over (mijn) Tuindorp Oostzaan zeker de moeite waard. Een zondag in de maand open.
Amazing experience. Had been there once but then it was different. Nice museum about (my) garden village Oostzaan definitely worth it. Open a Sunday in the month.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Small, quirky house museum showing a typical home in its original state from the 1920s. Only open on the second Sunday of each month. Don't expect a slick multi-media museum with a cafe and toilets. The volunteers live in the neighbourhood and they offer a wealth of knowledge and enthusiasm on the conducted tour. Every donated household item has a story. Great for kids to see what life was like before TV and computers. Interesting film on the flood that devastated the area in January 1960.
