★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This shop is packed full of beautiful instruments, from ukeleles and guitars to stunning accordions. The owners John and Jaye also offer a repair service as well as lessons. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for quality instruments and great service.

I've visited every guitar shop in Amsterdam and they were all very limited, not knowledgeable, not helpful and unfriendly, then I visited John and Jaye and it's like heaven compared to the hell that are those shops in Amsterdam. Even if those shops did have more stuff, I'd always rather go to MusicEdam so John can tell me about more things he's been up to, his new gear and just to support them both, because they are great people. John is also often willing to play for me, always ask politely though. They act like real people with thoughts, feelings and skill!
