★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I could write an ode describing how amazing the coffee is, but I'm too lazy: it's the absolute best coffee you can imagine. The "Mokka van Leentje" is truly delicious and special. Service is always vrolijk and gezellig.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with my boyfriend on a Sunday and it is not possible to have a computer on a weekend there. I guess it is not allowed to work there on weekends but what if I want to just do casual reading in my computer?
Anyways, there were no signs about this “rule” before entering/siting/ordering, and the guy that told us about it was quite rude so we left.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Best coffee I have had in the entire Netherlands - Rob is a super nice guy with a great knowledge of coffee. The teas are also amazing and the place is super nice inside and out. I recommend this to everyone I know - and for good reason :)

Probably the best coffee we've had in all of Holland, along with personalized and friendly help to make sure we took home the right coffees for our taste and habits. The owner knows more about coffee than anyone I've met, and offers some great options in a truly gezellig coffee space.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I think the owner was quite rude to tell us that laptops were not allowed during weekends, specially when we ordered a coffee before being told that we couldn’t use them. Fine if this is a rule at your café, but then make it clear somewhere when you enter, or when you sit, and specially before ordering!!
The other staff was kind though. Pity we won’t be going there anymore.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Saw many good reviews of Neef Rob, so decided to go. Coffee is good. Apple tart and apple cake decent. But the service is HORRIBLE. Old bold male waiter was extremely rude. Was never treated like that by someone. Instead of telling me what teas they have, he told me "it's your problem to decide". When being served, I reminded him we'd still ordered a slice of apple cake, he yelled "I only have two hands!". Was about to leave at this point. Never coming back. The other employees are friendly, though.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ One of the most unique cafe/espresso bar we've ever visited. We really enjoyed chillin' in the sofa sipping coffee and hot chocolate while eating some phenomenal sweets. It's evident that a lot of thought was put into every detail, from decor and atmosphere, to food and drinks, to cups and plates. The owner is a wonderful host and you can really feel his personality resonating with the place and the whole experience you're having. I highly recommend stopping here!

He also gave me additional serving suggestions (to make the summer tea into ice tea: cool overnight, add 3 mint leaves, honey to taste if needed). If you need a fresh cup, beans to take home, or just a good education then I recommend visiting Neef Rob. Dank u wel, neef!
