★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great museum...going back in time, kids experiencing the old way of washing, rinsing etc...history, beautiful gardens, funfair, great food, playgrounds, live music, travelling by old trams, people demonstrating how things were done in the old days...have to come back again!!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A very nice experience to get an insight into Dutch culture and tradition. The museum open area is quite big but easy to navigate walking or taking the historical Tram. Many nice activities for children to enjoy and explore. Unfortunately as a foreigner it was impossible for me to enjoy the inside exposition, Canon van Nederland, as the English explanations were quite short and all interactive activities were only available in Dutch.
The cafe inside, as well as other facilities for eating have a nice selection with reasonable prices.

It's really good to understand a bit more about The Netherlands and a great place to bring the kids! Totally recommend it! The explanations about the economy situation and life condition during different periods is really helpful to bring you back in time and understand a bit what the population was experiencing back then

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Amazing place to visit, especially when the weather is good. A lot of old houses form Netherlands collected in one place, perfect to learn about Dutch history. Very kids friendly, with dedicated paly ground and tram line around the whole park. Located on the outskirts of Arnhem on the hills and surrounded by woods. Kind of a must-see in Netherlands.
