New City Hotel Scheveningen - Renbaanstraat 1

Room was more like a cupboard that had been changed to a room and was in need of repair and redecorating WiFi was non existant most of my 4 night stay it very exp for what you get and toilet and shower is so small u couldn't shut the door if sat on the toilet

Location is great, 2 minute Walk to circus theatre. Vertalen close to the beach. Rooms are okay. Nice bed. The breakfast was Nice as well.

Value for Money, if you book well in advance. Clean. Cool Housekeeping. Friendly staff(Although I was worried about it after reading the reviews). Free Internet with good speed. Had a nice stay.

Room was very small. Bathroom was also small so you have to let open the door to sit on Toilette. The Bathroom was not cleaned as it should bei, smelling like a Train Toilette. Only cable TV with one german channel. The room was to expansive. Anyway, never go to this "Hotel" again.

I stayed in New City Hotel Scheveningen to attend to my best friend's wedding which was held nearby the beach. Beside the location of this hotel is not so far away from the center of the Hague station (you can easily reach by tram / cable car) so it's ideal for those who want to visit the center of the city and the sea. The receptionist was very friendly and helpful. I requested if he could call a cab for me and he called my room when the taxi arrived. The room was very compact and carpeted (there were closet, table with chair, sink and mirror besides the bed) and the bathroom is shared with rest of the quests. Luckily, the bathroom was clean even though the dim light made it looks like the bathroom is quite dark. As for breakfast, there are little choice and you can get your coffee by using the coffee machine. The downside of the machine would be the taste of the cappuccino which tasted very weird. The rest was just fine. I had mixed feeling of pleased and dissatisfied due to the quality and the price of the hotel didn't match. Some people find it cheap but from my experience they need to renovate or upgrade some of things to match the price which they gave me. I realize a lot of Dutch/Flemish guests were not satisfied and I understand their reasons too. Either way everybody have their own point of views. If I ever go back to the Hague, I would stay somewhere else. Perhaps somewhere much closer to the center of the city then nearby the coast, or stay in another hotel. (Based on what I have written on TripAdvisor)

Small and old style but was the cheapest and also very close to the beach. Everything was clean and the bed was comfortable

I had a single room with private bathroom. It was perfect for what I needed, a bed to sleep in, a room to put my stuff while I am out being a tourist and a place to shower. The room was clean. Recieved fresh clean towels every day.
