★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Jan verdonk is een aanrader als je van iconen houdt in de Kretenzische stijl. Jan sluit aan bij de traditie, zowel in de iconen die hij zelf schildert, als in zijn lessen iconen-schilderen die hij ook geeft, al jaren lang.
Ik heb zelf een icoon van Johannes de Doper van Jan Verdonk in mijn huis hangen en ik kijk er nog steeds naar. Hij blijft leven voor me.
 Jan Verdonk is a must if you like icons in the Cretan style. Jan is in line with tradition, both in the icons he paints himself, and in his lessons-painting lessons he also gives, for years.
