Nieuwe Energie is prachtig gelegen aan de Maresingel in Leiden, op steenworp afstand van het Centraal Station en de binnenstad. Het bekende Amsterdamse architectenbureau Van Stigt bracht het oude industriële karakter van het pand prominent naar voren.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Niet goed. Het is een Drugs en alcoholgebruikers opvang centrum. En het is dus niet aan te raden voor andere thuis en daklozen mensen. Zeer actief en geweld daadig het is dan ook apsoluut af te raden om daar te verblijven. Want ze stellen alles wat je dan ook in of bij je hebt. Want dat was mijn ervaring in de drie weken dat ik daar ook heb gezetten.
 Not good. It is a drug and alcohol reception center. And so it is not recommended for other home and homeless people. Very active and violent, it is therefore absolutely not recommended to stay there. Because they set everything you have in or with you. Because that was my experience in the three weeks that I also put there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Deze opvang is op geld uit. Ze willen alleen dat je een eigen bijdragen betaald maar helpen doen ze niet. Je krijgt geen huis, geen doorstroom plek helemaal niks. Echt op straat slapen is nog beter als die opvang. Alles is vies en het personeel is slecht
This care is for money. They only want you to pay a personal contribution, but they do not help. You will not get a house, a flow-through place at all. Sleeping on the street is even better than that care. Everything is dirty and the staff are bad

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ik ben hier bij een firma op bezoek voor een zakelijk gesprek. Het lijkt me een mooie locatie voor starters en jonge spin off firma's. Het was wel een last om te parkeren.....uiteindelijk in de parkeergarage onder de molen terecht gekomen.....dan is het nog een redelijke wandeling om er te komen.
I'm visiting a company here for a business meeting. I think it would be a great location for starters and young spin-off companies. It was a nuisance to park ..... eventually ended up in the parking garage under the mill ..... then it is still a fair walk to get there.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I didn' t stay overnight and was redirected to the correct location. While waiting to be helped i had to wait in the hallway which was strange. I have been helped very well and they were very respectful.
