★ ★ ★ ★ ★ A distant cousin of mine took my mother and I to dinner at the club. The food was wonderful and the staff were very accommodating. For example, I was trying to share family photos on Ancestry and one of the servers went to the front desk to get me the Wi-Fi password. The place was beautifully decorated for King's Day with orange balloons in the shape of a crown. It seems like a lovely place for people to do business and meet with people who have common interests. I hate to think how much it must cost to belong, though! FYI, if your'e ever invited, there is a dress code of business attire. Dress like you're going to church or to work at a bank and you'll fit right in. I'm so glad I got the experience to dine here with my family. My grandmother used to correspond with the club member's father about genealogy so it was great to make the connection in person.
The building is right across from the Mauritshuis museum and is within walking distance of the Hotel Des Indes, where we were staying. It seems very conveniently located to anyone living or doing business in The Hague.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Grand palace but not so great food. Good for meetings and conference. There was some local protest during my visit and this restaurant being next to parliment no taxi was available for to pick and drop.
