★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Now who on earth would have expected that this little gem is located right next to a parking garage?
It's such a beautiful place with lovely staff and they have a view, oh what a view! You can sip your beer while watching thru big open windows (in summer of course), you are looking right at the IJ, see ships and the Amsterdam Tower.
We came just for a drink but their menu looked lovely. Bathrooms are super nice but, just a suggestion, black toilet seats are not the smartest choice in my opinion. ;) However we loved it and will definitely come back whenever we are in Amsterdam. :)

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ It is a food experience on a five star level. The owner comes to your table and talks to you like you've been friends for 20 years and you have no other chance than love this place. Prices are responsible for what you get and I'm glad to say we had an amazing time. Thank you guys for making this so special to us. See you soon

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome meal, no menu - the chef decides on the day what to make depending on what fresh ingredients are available that day. Nouvelle Cuisine , artistic and full of flavour. We will be back. A gem of a place, friendly staff, fantastic location and great views across the river.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ I was not really pleased by this restaurant. The location is wonderful but the food was not that good. We made a reservation with a social deal so the 3 course menu was 21 euros instead of 40 euros. They dont have a menu for drinks and the food so it was a surprise. The wine we had was not cold. First we got an amuse, a sort of bruchetta, is was nice. It took very long, about 45 min between the courses. And the disches were really small. The food was tasty but not that good. I would not pay 40 euros for this menu.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Menu is ok. Don't expect ground-breaking stuff. Waiting times are too long. We ended up sitting with empty glasses and plates ~30-40% of the time and sitting in the restaurant for 3 hours. Staff are welcoming but really not enough to make up for the average food. Two stars because it wasn't worth my time.
