We choose alá carte today (coming back for the 15 courses taste menu though) and it was amazing. You want to go for fancy food but don’t want feel like show up in a suit? Come here, urban audience, open kitchen and amazing staff. Loved it - and coming back (thanks to the team, for the beautiful bday surprises for my boyfriend)

The fun part was they gave us a menu and a pencil so my girlfriend and I doodling and give ratings as well.. The portion of the food was expected and service was really quick. We spent around 3 hours for a 15 course meal and bottle of wine. The service was amazing, the food was amazing best birthday dinner for a foodie.

Great service, lovely view, special location and the food was just wonderfully creative and tasty. I don't eat meat so I'm delighted if a restaurant offers good vegetarian options. In this case, they let me freely pick and choose from their regular lunch menu and their veggie option and everything was splendid. Very much recommended and I wish them all the success in the world!

It totally lacked flavors, not what you expect at a high rated fine dine restaurant. The portions were ridiculous (So less). I’ve been to fine dining places such as these before but I never felt such a lack of satisfaction at the end of the meal.

V	Valentina on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ The staff, location, restaurant fit out and presentation of the plates were really lovely (4 stars) and I wish I could say the same for the food however each dish (except the dessert which was tasty) were really lacking any note-worthy flavours I would expect from fine dining. We had the 5 course menu, which had all the frills of fine dining, the beautiful box with the water and towels, the service staff presenting the food and talking through the dish and the white table clothes service, but what I really missed was the culinary experienced where not only my eyes got excited but where taste and smell were also taken on a journey. The plates lacked complexity in their flavours and were quite sweet overall. Most notably, the main dish, the steak tasted like a slab of meat that was cooked in a water bath and simply finished off on a grill for aesthetics. There is a big green egg and smoker in front of the restaurant, which if used would have brought so much flavour, instead of bland red meat that could have been any cut/animal. I was really looking forward to this meal however was thoroughly disappointed.

The 15-course tasting menu was very tasty and well worth the money. We went with 4 staff-suggested wines during the evening and didn't regret it. Worth a visit when you are visiting Amsterdam.
