Afwikkeling van een erfenis, hoe gaat dit in zijn werk?
De afwikkeling van een erfenis of nalatenschap is een verantwoordelijkheid die bij de erfgenamen ligt. Uiteraard is het belangrijk om na te gaan of de overledene een testament heeft. Dit kan worden opgevraagd bij het Centraal Testamentenregister. In de meeste gevallen is één van de erfgenamen in het testament benoemd tot executeur. De executeur is gemachtigd om de zaken rondom de erfenis te regelen. Het is niet noodzakelijk dat de executeur één van de erfgenamen is, het kan ook een notaris zijn. Als er géén executeur is benoemd door de overledene kunnen de erfgenamen onderling besluiten wie de executeur wordt of een volmacht geven aan de notaris voor de afwikkeling.
Voordat de executeur kan starten met het afwikkelen van de erfenis is een verklaring van erfrecht nodig. Deze dient te worden aangevraagd bij de notaris. De gevolmachtigde executeur verplicht zich tot het regelen van de bankzaken en het inzichtelijk maken van de financiële situatie van de overledene en voor het verdelen van de nalatenschap. Iedere erfgenaam moet goedkeuring geven voor de verdeling van de nalatenschap.

Also communication was not good at all. Very hard to get them on the phone, never calling back etc.. Overall not very professional

We called or emailed many times to get an answer, and often not all questions being answered, and of course the over charged was never answer. If you are buying house in Amsterdam/ Netherlands for the first time, get better and much attentive notary.
