Dirty, long distances, much too dark and no way to stand protected. Important! It is of course NOT the main station but Holten Bf!

Wenn der Zug vorbei fährt, entsteht hier ein riesiger Windstoß. Für die Wartenden ist es recht gefährlich. Die Beleuchtung an dieser Haltestelle fehlt mir auch. A darker and dirty stop. Sometimes I don't dare to wait for the train here. I think it's too narrow, too. When the train passes, there is a huge gust of wind. It is quite dangerous for those waiting. I also miss the lighting at this stop.
K	KohlenKumpel2000 on Google ★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Der Bahnhof an sich ist sauber, es sind Sitzmöglichkeiten vorhanden, sowie digitale Anzeigen mit Lautsprecherdurchsagen. Jedoch ist der Bahnhof nicht sehr gut an das Busnetz angeschlossen. Die Busse kommen immer genau so, dass man sie gerade verpasst wenn man aus dem Zug kommt. Außerdem hält nicht jeder Zug immer am Bahnhof, oft gibt es durchfahren ohne Halt. Die Ticket Automaten sind oft durch Vandalismus beschädigt, so dass man teilweise keine Tickets kaufen kann. The station itself is clean, there are seating available, as well as digital announcements with loudspeaker announcements. However, the station is not very well connected to the bus network. The buses always come exactly the way you just missed them when you get off the train. In addition, not every train stops at the station, often there is no stopping. The ticket vending machines are often damaged by vandalism, so that you can sometimes buy tickets.

I've been to all train stations everywhere: Frankfurt, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Cologne, Arnhem, Hamburg and many more, but none of them could surpass this Holten train station. ??

Zugänge durch neuerliche Bahnsteigverlegung verwirrend: Nicht Ortskundige suchen sich einen Wolf. Bahnsteig Richtung Wesel nur über eine Ackerwanderung zugänglich. The "sympathetic" train station on the Lower Rhine. When the ICEs rush through here, there's no stopping them. Entrances confusing due to the relocation of the platform again: those not familiar with the area look for a wolf. The platform in the direction of Wesel is only accessible via a hike in the fields.
