When the sun goes down behind Central Station, warm sounds caress your ears, coming from a rooftop in Amsterdam-Noord. The spectacular setting and intimate atmosphere of our summer venue form the perfect conditions for artists to create magical moments in a dynamic interaction with the audience.
International flavors of Amsterdam
For the 11th time, On the Roof will be a home to the colorful, diverse music scene of Amsterdam and special guests from abroad from June 25th to September 1st 2022. Artists you may know or would like to discover, are exploring and sometimes crossing the borders of jazz, global sounds and improvised music in authentic performances. What started as a somewhat crazy idea born out of passion has become a faithful summer rendezvous to discover new music, hear your favorite artists, enjoy the beautiful sunset and meet with friends.
What’s cooking for 2022?
In order to present even more variety this year, we will have double-bill concerts, family editions and a new support program for young creators.
