En natuurlijk de geweldige Onze Lieve Vrouwe kerk , zeker een bezoekje waard.

And of course the great Onze Lieve Vrouwe church, definitely worth a visit.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Esta hermosa plaza, ideal para sentarse a tomar o comer algo, rodeado de bellos edificios antiguos, tiene una muy rica historia. la plaza se encuentra en la parte más antigua de la ciudad, afuera del castillo romano. En sucesivas excavaciones arqueológicas se han encontrado restos del pilar de Júpiter de Derlon , del siglo II, y restos del castillo romano tardío, del año 333, entre otros hallazgos. Realmente muy interesante.
This beautiful square, ideal to sit down for a drink or a meal, surrounded by beautiful old buildings, has a very rich history. the square is in the oldest part of the city, outside the Roman castle. In successive archaeological excavations, remains of the Jupiter pillar of Derlon, from the second century, and remains of the late Roman castle, from the year 333, have been found, among other findings. Really very interesting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Ein gemütlicher mittelalterlicher Platz mit vielen Open-Air-Restaurants vor der Onze-Lieve-Vrouwe-Basilika. Nicht zu viel Verkehr, aber natürlich recht viele Touristen. Es lohnt sich, hier etwas zu essen und/oder zu trinken und den Blick über den Platz und auf die Basilika schweifen zu lassen.
Die Basilika sollte man unbedingt besuchen – Eintritt frei!
A cozy medieval square with many open-air restaurants in front of the Onze Lieve Vrouwe basilica. Not too much traffic, but of course quite a lot of tourists. It is worthwhile to have something to eat and / or drink here and let your eyes wander over the square and the basilica.
You should definitely visit the basilica - admission free!
