★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Must see for everyone who's into electronic music and festivals. Not only they have lots of interesting exhibits (a number of which is interactive) but they do this intro/outro shows which really bring up the nostalgia for times when you were on some kind of open-air with a crowd of like-minded people listening to some good music

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Went with a group on Friday and we had such a good time! Fun place to walk around and explore house music and culture through the years. It makes you leave ready to go clubbing for real.
They made sure there were people in each room to explain the background and how an installation works. We ended front left at the moving (!) dance floor with a little dance party. PS: there’s also another (bigger) photobooth near the giftshop.

I think this will be most fun to people who do not have experience with such music and never went clubbing. For someone who is more experienced I would have loved to see a bit more history, as well as how and why electronic music evolved. This part of the experience was somewhat hard to follow and felt a bit rushed.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Awesome 4D experience. Insane museum full of dance history artifacts. Really loved the time I had on hands to wander around and play with the different installments. Both the shows gave me goosebumps from head to toe, perfect thing to do while visiting the dance historical city that is Amsterdam.

The famous house club IT has been complete transformed into an impressive club, with an amazing sound system, a moving floors, a 360 video projection and masterpieces from the house history. Definitely worth visiting.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Great experience and we had a lot of fun! The museum offers beautiful insights in the history of electronic dance music and is equipped with the latest 4D-sound technology. The interactive tour takes you through the whole scope of dance music and the fun part is that you can actually try and learn it yourself!
We will definitely go back a second time!

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ This is not your average museum, this goes beyond your expectations. Be prepared for a highly engaging visual, powerful, interactive experience and submerge yourself into the history of house music.
I had goosebumps during the preshow and we had a mini rave at the end. This was written during the pandemic, this is your best next alternative for clubbing and you learn something while doing so!
