★ ★ ★ ★ ★ ALERT FRAUD. The company BELVILLA, daughter company of OYO is bankrupt and continue to steal clients reservation deposit for ghost villas. (see many comments on internet). DO NOT BOOK anything anymore with Belvilla or any other subsidiairies of OYO group.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Fraud: oyo homes have stolen 6k from my vacation rentals. Folks have stay in my homes, oyo homes takes there money . Oyo homes keeps the money. The property owner gets no money. They longer answer emails or phone calls. Oyo home are stealing people's money.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Do NOT use OYO rooms - it's a scam service! Booked an accommodation with Oyo while on a trip in India late December 2019 that we later cancelled. The reason for the refund is that the hotel we had booked through OYO did no longer have a collaboration with OYO upon arrival. The hotel informed us that they had stopped working with OYO since OYO did not pay the hotel for the guests the hotel had hosted for OYO.
Have been waiting for a refund for the accommodation since December 2019 after having received repeated confirmations from OYO that they will initiate the refund and after spending several hours on the phone with various levels of their “support” team.
The setup OYO is running is intended to want to give up. In sum, do NOT use OYO rooms, it’s simply not worth the hassle of saving a few cents on an accommodation. Better stick to one of the more recognized online booking brands with actual functioning support.
