The staff who served us spoke perfect English which in a Dutch seaside resort was a little bit unexpected but great.

★ ★ ★ ★ ★ Somewhat very disappointed with the customer service of this restaurant. We first walked in to a very noisy place, then we ordered a hot chocolate. The hot chocolate was far too sweet to our liking « my friend describes it as very watery ». We asked for waffles… no waffles . They say they have pancakes so we come to an agreement and they give us their menu. Tarter 30 mins no one comes up to check on us and our order is not taken. In between, my friend goes to the bar to ask for 2 glasses of tap water (since we needed to hydrate after the extremely sweet hot chocolate). They refuse to give us WATER, and instead propose to us to buy a bottle of water…. She comes back still dehydrated, we’ve now been sitting for another 10 minutes and the staff completely ignores us. I’ve gone up now and asked for the same thing as well as the bill. Now, we’ve finally received the bill as well as the water. This is ridiculous. We are also two youngest girls in this restaurant full of men. Maybe it is an issue about not being taken seriously but no one should be denied water. We are speechless.
